I was impressed with Obama's first day he took decisive action right out of the gate. I am glad to hear an end to Guantanamo, glad to see he has changed lobbying rules and is committed to the end of business as usual. I have a lot of hope and faith that there are brighter days ahead for us. Also glad to see the overwhelming support of Hillary as Sec of State, I believe she will be a good states person. On another note, radio just declared this the coldest January here since 1870... I believe it, it is cold as a bitch here again this morning. HOWEVER, that being said... it only 60 days until the first day of spring. ;-)

Morning Gang and good afternoon to you BUK. The harbor is solid ice as far as the eye can see. The ice is hard on my bottom paint, I used a hard paint (not an ablative that peels off to keep it's antifouling properties) amd the ice around the boat is green with my high dollar paint. ;-( which means I will have to be short hauled for more paint before the waters warm. Ouch! Think SPRING!
