So this will probably get me trolled more... oh well. :/ Need help. Long. Someone tell me how long this lasts. Greasemonkey sends me a pic of a movie he bought to watch with me on our "movie night". It's sweet. He's excited. etc. etc. I think it's darling. It's cute... but can't help but think of the times I did that with my ex. and I fucking miss that and miss him. When he hugs me sometimes I think of my ex. When he kisses me I think of my ex. When he touches my face and tells me that I'm beautiful I think of my ex. I'm sick and he came by last night to hold me and rub my feet and back. Try to make me feel better. Take care of me. He's good to me. He's good for me and I KNOW I am good to him too and good for him too... WTF is wrong with me?! Why do I spend so much time missing what I had? What I love? The Greasemonkey and I are a good couple. We go out together and people are drawn to us because we're funny and fun to be around... I know my family likes him. My friends like him and he's fucking crazy about me... I'm a good girlfriend. I'll be loyal and faithful regardless.. but why am I not crazy about him? :( Fuck.My.Life. It's been over a year! When does this go away? /sob. :(

stop dwelling on him. everytime catch yourself thinking of him, do something to change it. pinch your arm, say out loud "he's gone" (the out loud is important).

I...really don't know what to say... try to think of the REASONS your ex is an EX. Don't think of him in a good light anymore, there's a *REASON* he's your ex. Get some counseling. If you can get rid of this on your own, it would be best, because knowing this would just tear my heart out if I were the guy...

GET SOME COUNSELING, POSSIBLY WITH HIM PLEASE. It sounds like there's potential for a REALLY good relationship there, you just have to let go of your old baggage! And he does too if he has any. DO YOU WANT TO BE WITH HIM OR YOUR EX? WHICH WOULD YOU RATHER BE WITH? YOU HAVE TO ANSWER THIS HONESTLY TO YOURSELF.
