You may or may not be interested in knowing that the herring gull is stealing a guillemot chick, ed murres here in the US, and mah of mah fav'rite birds, evah. Little rastafarians, those murres/guillemots. I was talking to a biologist yesterday who gave me the unwelcome information that they're not the brightest birds on the circuit, but they're still my favs. (*wipes single tear*.) Gulls gotta eat, too, even though murres rock the house! :)
