i cant get approved for a loan ev credit score. I'm on authorized user on all credit card accounts and only have had 3 personal loans (all paid off) in my name. why cant i get approved for anything?

You may have too much credit already and they are afraid you are over-extending yourself. Or too many hits on your credit requesting credit.

From what I know paying off credit cards and keeping them open might be a good thing. These are credit cards that you've had for years tho. Shows your credit history goes as far back as when you opened those accounts.

It's never a good idea to close them right after you pay them off.
