I was accused of not giving CL employees enough credit than lets piont right back to misnOmer who did not give them enough credit. and all of you who are so easily blind to the fact that she misnOmer Started this and ended this before lunch time with no real opportunity to discuss or vote. Her excuse of the anon mudding up the poll was her way of pushing her adgenda through and not having to take responsibility for it. If she we anyone here really wanted a community to vote she we would have left the thread alone and allowed to do their jobs. The facts are this At 8:02 misnOmer started a discussion that less than 9 people were a part of before 8:56 when she posted the vote. At around 1:00 the thread got muddy misnOmer asked to clean/review(her words not mine)the thread. 12 people voted after the thread was sent for review and who knows how many others would have voted. Because or so it seems the discussion part of this was ignored after the voting started causing another problem with the validity of the vote. misnOmer has done a huge injustice to the forum and the community that supported it.

Look at it this way CL's policy is to let votes run for a certain amount of time. However, staff (and not any forum poster) chose not to let the vote go on any longer. I would guess that the increased anon sniping, the repeated top posts made by anons which were nothing more than shit stirring and which were 21356ged by forum readers and removed by forum staff, the tone in this forum during the vote and increased negativity and sniping between forum members, the increased number of 21356ged and removed threads the past week or so all played a part in CL's decision not to let the vote go on any longer. If you have a problem with staff's decision please contact them and please stop your attacks on misn0mer. You're blaming someone whose only goal was to improve our forum.

o my lordy She doesn't have the power to stop the vote OR to change the forum rules. She made the staff aware of a vote in progress in which she SAID ought to be left up for a couple days. IMO - staff got a good cross-section of people voting. It was almost 2 to 1. Game over. I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Really. I think those that still want to vote, should, and then we could email the thread again in a few days. Out of the x current votes, x were for no change. So I guess it's possible that the majority could change in the course of a few days. I don't know...I am still undecided.

I agree with you on this It was carried out in a very haste manner. And no, as a member of this community...I do not support it. That is why I changed my vote, I thought I understand what the change would mean, as time and discussion went by, I knew it would not be the right thing to do. Perhaps if others would have had time too, they would have had voters remorse like I did.

I was surprised to log on this morning and see the no handle overwriting already. I would assume that there would be at least x hours to post a vote because so many people who use the forum log on at different times. Sometimes they only check in for a few minutes in the afternoon - how is that fair that the voting time was so short? That being said, it looks like the clear majority was voting for R+ so the end result would likely have been the same.

well not counting vish and joe twice votes the tally would be x r+ to x no change. We do not know what the real outcone would be since the vote thread was looked over so early. As the ones involved said that they could only findother time voting had been discussed. So I think a fair discussion for a day then a vote the next day could have made this fair. It is not the blow out you are assuming and sofar almost half of the community wanted no change. If a fair discussion and vote had taken place I would not be here right now arguing for no change.
