My daughter doesn't like the new bf her mom has. She isn't mean enough to tell her mom that although she should, she tells me and her brothers she doesn't like him. Mom wouldn't accept it, mom told her to "get used to him" when she first said something. Step daddie may be nice and all but that doesn't mean she accepts it or that it produces good results. Obviously, she is not taking the divorce well. You can't blame dad. Dad may be being pushed away from your new relationship. When you say he treats your daughter like his own, it screams "her new dad". He will never come close to filling in as her new dad, never. That is slapping that poor girl in the face when you try to replace her dad. I stand by my advice. Divorce him and never try to replace dad. Have your daughter her Daddy tonight.
