I've certainly used to meet people, though not for sex or romance. I like to see the face and hear the voice of anyone I'd take my clothes off for. I suppose if I were dating, I might not be opposed to using online ads to start a screening process of some sort. But from what I've seen of ads, most are so barely literate that I'm not sure that's where my "peeps" are hanging out. I haven't looked systematiy or over time, though, just browsed through out of curiosity every now and then.

I have tried, all I get is spam. Being single for the first time in x years, I am having a hard time getting into the dating scene. (I wasn't exactly a hot item x decades ago either...) I answered x adds that seems ok, (Well, maybewas really wishful thinking...) and they all replied with something to the effect of, 'I can't talk here, go on "such&such" dating site to see my profile.' Fucking spammers. To top it off, had the Erotic Services category to keep the hookers out of the personals. Guess what? They are all back in the personals now. The Attorney General(s) that leaned on are all just useless politicians.
