He swore it was over w/her, and we got together. I went away to visit family for Thanksgiving. While I was away, he slept with his ex. He picked me up at the airport and doesn't tell me until after making love w/me in my bed. He then says he has something he wants to tell me, but can't say what. I have to 'play x-questions' and 'pull teeth' to get the story out of him. He lies a few times before I finally get the truth out - that he'd slept with her, spent the night and left her bed ON THE SAME DAY that he picked me up at the airport and made love w/me in my bed. Now he says he is very sorry and it'll never, ever, ever happen again. Ever. He says he's never done anything like that before, and never will again. He says he's the most faithful man alive, and that this was totally out of character. He says I have nothing to worry about with him, that he'll be monogamous with me for the rest of our lives. :: eye roll :: Yah, right, like I've never heard that bs before. :: eye roll :: Yet.... yet .... what if..... Look, usually when a guy cheats he doesn't tell the SO. I cheated on mine, but never had the balls to tell her. BUT, he could've kept it to himself and you found out on your own (which I would imagine would hurt worse then this).
