Just wanted to say.... that I'll be taking a bit of a fo' vacation and didn't want to disappear without a trace. This is directly related to what happened yesterday (for clarification's sake). Nushka, thanks for the lolcats; I believe the ones you've posted have made me laugh the hardest the most often. Boston_Bean, thank you for reminding me that politics does not have to be dry and cut stuff. That this may not be the sixties, but you can still be politiy active and have a voice. I'm sorry... I know you are feeling the pain of the insensitive comments last night, and I respect that you need to take care of yourself. As you reflect I hope you also remember the posters that spoke up against the vitriol and take some comfort in knowing most here are supportive. I hope to see my silly_rabbi friend again soon.

the whole thing was just unfortunate We're all adults here. Shit happens sometimes. I personally don't see any fault that needs assigning.. I hope everyone who chooses to take time out can get the most of it and eventually return when it feels right.
