Trick is to find a tutorial that explains it in a way you understand. I used these and reverse engineered a couple of simple sites to learn about CSS. I still have to re-learn it everytime I use 'em though. Basics are: make a text document that has the styles you want to use. You gotta learn how to define each style, and what there is to choose from. Each style gets a name (= "selector") So it looks something like: .stylename { Property:  Value; } The properties are similar to HTML properties you may be familiar with, but with more options. A very simple style might be: .Headline { font-size= x px; // font heigh x pixels font-style= bold; // font is bold color= red; // color is red font-family= Arial; // an Arial or arial like font face } remember the initial . (period) If you leave it out, it will re-define all html elements named stylename. (useful if you want to, say, redefine the B tag.) Then make a reference in the header of your HTML page to the CSS text document. example: <head>   <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="mystylesheet.css"> </head> Then for each element on the page that you want to style, you have to include the "style=stylename" in the HTML tag. If you want to style something that doesn't normally have a tag, use the <div> or <span> tags. for example: <hx style=headline>This text would have headline style in addition to the Hx properties.</hx> The style sheet styles will over-ride any pre-defined properties of a tag. You're smart, you can pick up the rest. Copy someone else's page and style sheet and start messing around with it. You just need a nerd sex slave to answer your questions. Oh that is even harder than what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to make a blogger template have three columns and float to expand to the computer screens. There are lots of tutorials on line from people who have hacked blogger but the thing is that most of them write for an audience they assume already knows about editing. So they tell you to add some bit of code into your CSS and expect you to know what the fuck is a CSS and where to place the code. It would be a lot easier if they'd do screen shots or showed you what the block of text before the block of text you're looking for looks like. I keep getting stuck and having to start over.

What's worse is that I'm sure it's really easy because all you're doing is copy pasting a piece of code and giving it a new name and addjusting a px value to a % which will cause the floating I want. There isn't any writing involved it's simple and I'm sure someone who knows what they're doing could do it in x mins. But for some reason my brain keeps shutting down and thinking "This is too hard, lets watch TV instead."
